| After managing apartment buildings for several years in the Seattle area, I have recently taken over as the manager of a great old apartment building in the Portland, Oregon area. As such, I am trying to find qualified contractors and other service providers to help me with tasks such as cleaning and maintenance. While I have used the services of groups such as the Better Business Bureau (BBB) in the past to check out potential contractors, I have never utilized review information from organizations such as Angie's List. Consequently, I thought I would ask whether anyone associated with this forum has used groups such as this and, if so, if they would be willing to share their experiences.
