Just because you have created an awesome infographic or you have commissioned someone to do it for you does not mean it should be front and center of your site's homepage. In fact, it would be more productive if you submit your infographic to other sites. This way, people who have not heard of your site would pickup news about it if they frequent the website you posted the infographic on.
